Ithaca College is accepting applications for a Marketing Analyst to provide statistical reporting and develop ROI reports and analyses to maximize marketing efforts. The successful applicant will be expected to combine data from several sources to create a comprehensive, effective marketing dashboard that will help drive decision making and determine caign effectiveness. The Marketing Analyst will derive trends from data and provide actionable recommendations to further define or revise marketing strategies and priorities manage analytics and reporting associated with the colleges web sites, advertising caigns, e-mail marketing, SEO efforts, paid search, mobile, and social media train key personnel to access and interpret data identify technical issues with analytics programs and manage resolutions conduct AB testing for marketing caigns provide details architecture recommendations perform custom analytics research and present key findings to internal clients.The ideal candidate is required to have a bachelors degree in business, marketing, statistics or a related position and a min of 2 yrs analytics background with proven success background setting up and managing web analytics for a mediumlarge organization with multiple profiles or accounts background using Google Analytics and working with commercial e-mail marketing vendors proven ability of presenting actionable recommendations based on quantitative marketing metrics knowledge of web analytics advanced segments, goal tracking, and caign tracking. The applicant must be detail-oriented with effective communication, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities and have background monitoring and reporting the results of on-line advertising caigns. The successful applicant must have an ongoing knowledge of SEO, direct mail, e-mail marketing, web usability, user background, and conversion optimization best practices. Proficiency in Ms word, Microsoft excel, and PowerPoint background developing and delivering presentations to large groups demonstrated expertise to work unaided, develop alternative solutions to complex problems, and work on multiple projects simultaneously are required. The applicant is also expected to show a proactive commitment to ongoing professional development by reading, attending webinars and seminars when available, and staying up-to-date with the latest technology that supports marketing assessment needs.
